Hello,

I bought a house from 2011 last year, so almost new.

I received some documents from the seller. However, I had expected more documents.

My first request for documents from the general contractor after the purchase was not answered.

Does it make sense to take a look at the building file and make copies there, in case something interesting is still found?

Please don’t misunderstand, I feel comfortable with my house, but if there are other documents somewhere, I would like to have them.

Hello,

Which ones, for instance?

I've always wanted to ask: does your nickname refer to the Irish pub?

For example, I do not have a drainage plan or electrical plan, no confirmation of the electrical acceptance. Unfortunately, I also do not have the acceptance protocol available.

If the documents were not recorded in the notarized contract, you probably will not receive any documents either. If they exist at all.

By the way, we don't have that either, even though we have just finished our construction. But it wouldn't help me much...

Hello,,

You built with a general contractor, right? Either way: what does your contract say? Is it documented there or in the BB that you are entitled to these documents? Whereas the drainage planning is part of the building application; at least you should have been handed this document along with a copy of the building application.

Ashes on my head; of course Edinburgh :D

Rhenish greetings
