Hello,

I am moving soon and currently I am wondering how I can remove the BASISK wall spot without completely destroying the lamp or the wall? When mounted on the wall, the three screws in the "base" are covered by a metal ring, which is glued to the base. Of course, when assembling, I didn't think at all about the fact that the lamp might have to be taken down again.

Do you have any hot tips on how I can manage that? I'm a bit clueless...

Best regards

The only thing that comes to mind is warm water to soften the glue a bit, but it is not suitable due to the electrical wiring. Or a hairdryer. That should make it a little easier. Otherwise, I don't know anything...

A hairdryer is a good idea. But I will stop by Ikea on Saturday and ask how they do it, maybe there is a secret trick.
