I have the following question.

In two rooms, some tiles have lifted. I would now like to remove them and then somehow reattach them. Is something like this possible? How do I do it best? Or do I need a machine for this, etc?? How much would such a machine cost?

Thanks

Hi Mega

Uff! That will probably make a bit of a mess... but of course it is definitely possible. You have to chip out/remove the loose tiles. For that, use a suitable spatula and a hammer. Or you can borrow a machine for it from the "Plattli leger."

Have a nice evening..

First, I would ask myself why the tiles actually came up... there could be reasons for that, then it doesn't help to just glue them back down again?!

Renovating Tiles

Hello

Let's be honest. Renovating old tiles is a huge mess and a hell of a job! I would only do it for very special tiles, or even natural stone. Nowadays there are already such cheap offers for tiles.
Also, I don't believe that it was due to the installation of the tiles that they didn’t hold properly. But I could imagine that the underfloor heating was simply turned up too quickly again. Or the screed simply didn’t have enough time to dry. This causes tensions.

Cheers
