No, the dishwashers now have a steel braided hose instead of the AquaLook, pressure resistant up to 60 bar. AEG offers extension sets WR Flex in 1 and 2 meter lengths for this. You can buy them normally in stores, they include a hose extension for inlet and outlet. According to AEG, they are tested and come with a full warranty.

Hello Zetterberg,

an armored hose? Aren't those the things used in heating systems? According to the Electrolux spare parts page, this is the original hose:

That looks to me like a completely normal 3/4" hose with an Aquastop element, but of course the question is whether all that is really correct. With Electrolux, everything seems a bit confusing to me.

No idea what is used in heating construction. Only, there are no pressures that need to withstand 60 bar, but more temperature resistant. Your picture shows an inlet for [AquaLook] systems.

Honestly:
No matter how good the Skinande dishwasher may be, if neither the exclusive dealer nor the manufacturer can or wants to supply a commonly used built-in accessory, I would stay away from this device!

Choose a device from the BSH group; there are plenty of threads with recommendations for Metod-compatible dishwashers. You will also find the Aquastop inlet hose extensions with the order numbers on the manufacturer's homepage.

Or just take Miele. They also had people on the phone who knew something about their appliances. And it's not that much more expensive.
