Different manufacturing quality specialized trade / online?

We have already been to various specialty stores... Elements, R+F etc....

We really like the Grohe Essence line... The specialist dealer naturally says that the Grohe products on the internet are a completely different quality than his Grohe products, which is why they have to cost almost twice as much..... We would like to order from Reuter...
