Did the floor make a loud cracking sound?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask. But I do think it might somehow have to do with structural engineering? I was just walking through a room earlier and suddenly heard something like a loud bang/crack when I stepped. I don’t want to rule out that the bang might have been outside, but it was so loud that I can hardly imagine it. The spot was pretty much in the middle of the room. The floor is tiled. The house was built in 2014. What could that have been? Should I be worried?

Was there only a bang or did you also feel something? If not, it was probably not the ground.

I just came up with the solution. There is a room divider that I walked past, which is screwed to the wall. I suspect that the noise occurred when passing by it.
