Hello,
we are looking for ideas on how to design our front garden. In the pictures, you can see the area. Basically, we don’t want a rock garden. However, it shouldn’t look overgrown or too dense either. Rather simple and modern.
I have attached two pictures. The entire area is 11m long. The narrow area is about 1.30m wide. The area around the heat pump fan is about 3x4m.

The yard or path to the front door will be paved with 30x60 slabs in anthracite.

Starting from the yard, we have chosen the following.

Ilex column

Ilex ball

Ilex column

Euonymus alatus

then at the beginning of the 3x4m area a
Ilex shaped wood

and finally a ball maple.
I think the ball maple is really beautiful, especially in that area. But I would also like to obscure the fan a bit more.

What tips and ideas do you have?

I would choose a Norway maple that grows like an umbrella to a maximum height of 2-3 meters. But apart from that, I don’t find the fan so ugly, but quite neat. That’s the thing to the right of the entrance, isn’t it?

yes exactly, to the right of the entrance. I don’t find that box that bad either.
