But how can it be that you completed your construction financing 15 months ago (at least that's what I gather) and apparently nothing has been built at all. Such a building can take 9-12 months on top of that.
Thank you for your feedback. The contract with the solid house provider was signed around June 2016. It took half a year for the first building application to be approved. The house would then have been located 1 m below the street level. The architect's statement was that there was no alternative to this. At first, I trusted him. Unfortunately, only after the approval of the first building application did I look into the whole thing more closely and then discovered an alternative that was compatible with the building regulations. The solid house provider has not commented on this deficiency to this day, very likely to avoid additional planning effort. Then it took another approx. 8 months until the second building application, including renewed static calculations, was approved; according to the solid house provider, the summer holidays extended the whole process. According to the plan, the house is now only 25 cm below the street level. As already mentioned, after the second building application was approved, the construction start meeting with the general contractor was supposed to take place. Originally, it was agreed in writing that the construction should start 30 days after the construction start meeting. Now the general contractor believes this agreement cannot be kept, as 4 out of 10 construction workers are seriously ill for a longer period, so construction can begin at the earliest at the end of the year or the beginning of the new year.
