Hello, first of all about me. I am a complete DIY novice and am currently building a single-family house. I have a quick question. I am standing in the shell construction on the first floor where the bathroom will soon be. The concrete ceiling has already been poured. My question: I cannot see any recess for a waste water pipe going down. Is it channeled into the wall or was the recess forgotten? Thanks

You surely have an execution plan that you have signed. Everything should be visible there. If nothing is available yet, it could also be that a core drilling will be done later. It’s putting the cart before the horse, but it happens.

I am having the plumbing installations done by another company and not by the construction company. However, I cannot reach anyone at the plumbing company.... probably already the weekend...

There is also an execution plan, after all, they don't just start building randomly. But in this case, communication was probably poor or non-existent, so each trade is doing its own thing... in other words, it comes down to a core drilling.
