So I can reassure you to some extent. With the major prefab house providers, 24 months and more were not uncommon in 2021. Prefab houses are becoming increasingly popular, and with KFW 40 Plus, 2021 was a boom year. Especially Fingerhaus has, from an external perspective, a good price-performance ratio and therefore probably full order books. I also know more regional providers, where it went much faster. Currently, however, they also have problems gaining customers at all, while companies like Fingerhaus can work through a good buffer. There are also other factors, such as special equipment and who fulfilled the building requirements faster. If the building permit or financing or the plot is only ready 3 months later than for another, you simply move back in production. It’s really hard to compare, too individual.

Even if you currently cannot acquire new customers, there are still easily orders in the pipeline for 12 months. The backlog that had to be pushed forward for a long time is slowly getting smaller. However, it will still take 1-2 years before it disappears.

Moreover, the shortage of skilled workers is becoming more critical month by month, because now the boomers are slowly reaching the age where, after 40 years in construction, they simply cannot continue.
