Hello everyone,
some changes need to be made in our garden. We were thinking about a small garden pond. Do special conditions need to be created for it? What should be considered? Which plants are particularly suitable according to your experience? Do you also have fish in it?
I would be very happy about your tips. Thank you!
Jack :)

It's good that you're asking because many people think that digging a hole, putting in foil and water is the whole procedure. Which isn't exactly wrong, but you should consider beforehand what you want to do with this pond. A pond where fish are supposed to survive later requires different conditions than a simple "water hole," possibly with a water feature. What exactly do you have in mind? And do you already have an idea of how big the garden pond should be? ;)

Hello Rufus, I don't have any concrete ideas yet. The size should be about 2.5 to 3 meters in diameter. Fish can be included, but they don't have to be. I would like it if there were lots of interesting plants in and around it. Do you perhaps have a good idea for me?

Hello Rufus,
I am also interested in the matter of the garden pond. Do you perhaps know what I need to consider so that fish feel comfortable in it? I would like to have fish in my future pond. Can you also recommend certain plants? Do you have a garden pond yourself? Thank you for your support!
