Cracks in the new roof frame

Hello and happy Sunday,

before I contact our expert from the Bauherren-Schutzbund about this, I want to ask here first.

Our roof truss was repaired last Wednesday, and on Tuesday the underlay will be installed. Yesterday I noticed a few cracks. They are probably within all tolerances, but I would also be interested in your opinion.

I don't want to get ahead of myself, but you will always have a certain number of cracks in the wood - whether there are too many or too large should be determined by an expert (I rather think not).

These cracks in the fiber direction are harmless and completely normal for [KVH].

I agree with that, you don't need to worry.
