Cracks from inside along the roller shutter box

Hello everyone, after 5 years in our new building, it has been noticed in the upstairs bathroom that a significant crack has formed along the roller shutter box and bit by bit some plaster is also coming off. I only noticed it by chance a few months ago. What could have happened or might be happening and how can this be fixed? Is this somehow concerning? Thanks for your feedback.
