Good morning,

there are cracks in one spot of the purchased house (terraced house, 14 years old).

The wall is constructed as follows:

- upper part is a solid wall
- middle part (approx. 30 cm wide) is some kind of intermediate layer (?) beam or something similar, which we also have similarly between the ground floor and first floor - when tapping on it, it seems to be the hardest material
- below comes the drywall

As seen in the pictures, there are cracks between all three layers. The cracks (the lower crack in the pictures) at the drywall seem almost normal. But what about the upper crack between the solid wall and the middle part (beam) - how critical can that be?

What would you recommend doing? Having it inspected by a professional? How can it possibly be fixed?

What might be important to mention - there is a large terrace above it.

Thank you!
