Hello everyone. Since this is my first post, I am grateful for any advice.

Brief information about the house: 16 years old plastered exterior facade hard roof solar panel system 1 upper floor is finished with drywall panels. If anything else is needed, please let me know.

My concern: I have the problem that the wall cracks when stepping (1st upper floor). At first this happened sporadically. But it got worse day by day. It feels as if the floor would rock. On the ground floor, in this area of the ceiling (reinforced concrete), there is a longer hairline crack. Is it possible to upload a video here?

Furthermore, there are stress cracks throughout the house. It started in the bathroom. The adjacent room also has this symptom.

The roof structure also creaks occasionally.

I am grateful for every reply Best regards

No one here will be able to give you any useful information about that. I would have a structural engineer come as soon as possible (!) if I were you and, if possible, avoid entering the upper floor until then.

In general, a house works like this, especially when using wood. Similar cracks can be found everywhere in new constructions. However, I find it quite unusual for a 16-year-old house if all the cracks have just appeared recently. That would mean that something is massively contracting or expanding due to moisture or heat? If it started in the bathroom, maybe water is leaking somewhere and cannot escape due to lack of sealing? Checked the roof for moisture?

So I would also urgently recommend ordering an expert or a structural engineer.
