Does anyone know if a drawer front 901.295.36 (59.6cmx12.6cm) fits easily for the base drawer? Or is it too narrow?

Hi,

no, it doesn’t fit there. The base drawer is 16cm high, just like the base. So a piece of base is the front for the base drawer. In this case, really quite simple. :D

The installation instructions state it should be 13.8cm wide, which is less than 16cm. So, cutting it yourself after all, right. Are edge bandings actually included with the base drawer?

There is an aluminum plate included. You can put a piece of baseboard on it. You can see this quite well in a picture in the kitchen catalog. You can also completely omit the aluminum plate and stick the baseboard on the back with a piece of foil. The aluminum plate actually just makes it unnecessarily expensive. Edge banding is included with the baseboard. I would also overall choose a closed base; otherwise, there will be problems with the dishwasher. An open base with a drawer in between, in my opinion, looks sh... too.
