Costs of laying tiles or costs for bathrooms

We have now thought about tiling the entire house and found nice tiles at the hardware store for 15 euros per m².

These hardware store prices are always tempting, I know. Just carefully consider whether you want to deal with cracked tiles or even have to tile again in 2-3 years?

You should definitely do that and answer the above questions during your visit; quality has always had its price; in return, you will enjoy the floor for a long time

If you can tile yourself, probably only your time, if you have “good acquaintances,” it depends on their rate; they also charge a good €40.00/hour plus material and then you are not far from the price of the prefab house provider.

What would a bathroom including sanitary objects cost approximately? (no super luxury - but turnkey) We were at the hardware store and looked at the prices there. For example, I would like to have the shower tiled without a cabin.

Simple standard €2,600.00 for objects including walk-in shower, the square meter wall area times height (how high should it be tiled) times tile price including installation costs is added on top.

We were offered about 85 euros per m² from the prefab house provider.

This price refers to tiling including material; a usual price in the industry.

So I added up all the square meters that need tiling and came to 110m² to be tiled.

Roughly calculated in my head, I’ve now rounded up to 10,000 euros and I’ll have the bathroom done by our prefab house guy – then there’s also the warranty included.

Then I have to include that in my budget plan aka I’m getting a headache plan...

But if there are good tiles now at the sample goods center in Mühlbach-Kärlich, maybe I can sleep well again
