Costs for a garage floor slab

we have just started building our house and the earthworks are in full progress. We have now obtained an offer from the basement builder for the floor slab of our garage. Now I wanted to ask if the price is reasonable. The basement builder, who is also building our basement from the construction company, is the same one who will later create the garage floor slab. According to his statement, 1m² costs us 200€. That seems quite a lot to me?? The garage is almost exactly 40m² in size, which would mean costs of around 8000€. What do you think as experts? One more piece of information. The earthworks have already been done.

are you sure that this is only the concrete work?

€200 just for the floor slab (concrete, reinforcement, foundation) really seems a bit much to me.

Tell me where you live, at this price I would only pour floor slabs

If the earthworks have already been completed, the price per square meter should be in the range of €80-90. Anything below or above that is a rip-off

They probably have to, because for his basement he as a subcontractor from the main contractor is probably not paid handsomely. What he loses there, he tries to partly recoup here. Sometimes a pure survival strategy.
