Correct installation of rubber spacers for Ikea Pax sliding doors

Hi! The rubber spacers from step 18 of the instructions for Pax Lyngdal are driving me crazy right now. There is only one single picture showing that you should push 48 of these rubber parts per sliding door with a screwdriver between the glass panes and the frame. Unfortunately, it’s not clear how the correct final position of these parts should be. As I understand it, these parts are supposed to fix the panes in the frame. For some parts, I manage to position them so that they almost clasp the pane in the final position — is that correct? However, this only works for 10 of the 48 rubber parts, I can’t get the others to slip behind the pane.... What could be the reason for this?

With fiddly stuff like that, it's not unusual. I would try it with some lubricant.
