Cork vinyl, with which saw to cut it properly?

We ordered a design vinyl floor with integrated cork insulation from Haro, type Disano Classic Aqua, for the house. It is recommended not to cut the floor with a laminate cutter, but with a circular saw. The rental service at the hardware store could not help me because they were already overwhelmed with this combination and tried to sell me a conventional laminate cutter. Can a standard table circular saw be used for this? Or is a jigsaw better? If so, are there any requirements for the saw blade besides being as fine as possible?

If I remember correctly, they simply took a box cutter from our neighbors

A table saw works, of course. A jigsaw only for cuts that don't have to be straight. A saw blade for wood. A miter saw would be ideal. Cut the parts so that, if at all, they fray on the underside. This means the saw blade first enters on the top side.

Thanks for your assessment! Don't you have problems with a miter saw when you need to cut lengthwise?

For longitudinal cuts (and also all other straight ones) use a plunge saw, possibly in the mini version; these have always proven very useful when laying parquet and the like.
