Convert garage (built into the house) into a living space

There has always been a garage built into my house and I now want to convert it into a living space. However, I do not know whether I need a building permit for this or not. I have attached a sketch of the top view and the front view of the house. I hope you can tell me what I need to consider.

NO ONE here knows that, since the development plan along with the textual provisions is completely unknown to us; if it concerns § 34, no one knows the surrounding development either :confused:

What I can tell you for sure, regardless of the federal state, is that you will need a building permit based on your plan drawing. I would therefore recommend that you visit the building planning office responsible for you and present your project there. The clerk will then tell you what you are allowed to plan and build!

You will probably need a building permit because it is a change of use in your case, and that requires approval.
