Hello,
I have the offer for the purchase of an older office building here in front of me, which, in terms of layout, location, etc., could be very well converted into a student dormitory.
I spoke with the urban planning department and since a student dormitory, according to some court ruling from a few years ago, is considered a residential building and the office building is located in a commercial area, the conversion is legally not possible. That's what the urban planning department says.
Does anyone know a way to still get a permit?
- Through an exemption?
- Call the mayor?
- Simply sue? On what legal basis?
Thanks!
