Hello everyone,

my question that just came to me:
What happens if the controlled residential ventilation or the heating have no power for an extended period?
Do they then lose their settings?
Because everything was specifically configured for the house.

The reason:
Everything was set up for us, but then we turned off the power and occasionally switched it back on, since we don’t need the devices during the interior construction work.

I am now not sure how long the power can be off without losing the settings.
I don’t want the technician to have to come again.

Both devices are from Vaillant.

Thanks!

I would find it highly questionable to store settings in volatile memory, but I would ask the manufacturer if you want to be sure.

At Stiebel: It is also stored over several days (with us like this).

I asked once, thought someone here would know. I’ll check in the operation to see if I notice anything about the values.

Our Waterkotte Ai1+ I accidentally completely switched off once during last year’s vacation (otherwise I only deactivate the heating or hot water generation). The settings were still saved after 2 weeks – only the values for the internal calculation of the annual performance factor were gone (heat quantity etc.). The operating hours were, for example, still available. The controlled residential ventilation had already been without power for a longer time during the summer. The percentage values assigned to the individual stages (performance) were, for example, always unchanged.

Ok, I also think it would be bad if the values were gone after a few days.

I have to check if I can find out something through the menu.

The value of the [Sluftmenge] that is displayed almost corresponds to that on the day of the [Invetriebname].
