We will move into our own house at the end of the year. It will have a controlled residential ventilation system, the only question is whether we should choose an enthalpy or a standard heat exchanger. For the cold season, I would like a model with moisture recovery, but I fear that with such a device we will not be able to get the initial construction moisture out of the building. What do you think?

Whether construction moisture causes problems in connection with an enthalpy heat exchanger can only be said if one knows how humid the indoor air will ultimately be. For example, if the house is finished dry, there will hardly be any construction moisture present. Unfortunately, I also have no experience with enthalpy heat exchangers.
