Hello everyone,
I am currently working with my dad (an electrician retired) on the electrical planning for our new build.
We are going to install venetian blinds, a total of 12 pieces.
Since my dad still has many flush-mounted inserts from Merten in his stock, I would like to use a switch program from Merten.
For the control of the venetian blinds, we imagine a simple concept, without KNX or EIB or similar. The wiring should be done using 5x1.5 or 5x2.5 cables.
Does that work?
How did you do your blind control when conventional electricity is to be used?
According to my dad’s assessment, an electronic flush-mounted blind control insert is needed if you want to place the “control box” directly next to the window. If I don’t want to program anything, a simple rocker switch with arrows on it and a frame should be sufficient, correct?
In the bathroom, where I would like to have an auxiliary station, we additionally need the auxiliary station plus, right?
Furthermore, we also need wind guards, a wind sensor interface, and a sun-dusk sensor, right?
I hope you can offer some support.
Thank you
