Hi,
we have auctioned a house and want to renovate it. For this, we want to move some walls inside the house, install heating afterwards, and apply thermal insulation with new windows to the house. The building structure looks OK to a naive eye (no cracks in the walls, no moisture in the basement, no mold).
I am not a professional myself, but in my youth I helped build a house. You can now hire many experts for each partial task – and accordingly spend a lot of money. However, I would like to know what really makes sense in our case.
Or does a construction supervisor make sense for my project, who can advise me at all steps?
Would be grateful for your tips!

[*]Structural assessment of the wall relocations: The house is fairly simply constructed – 4 exterior walls (7.5m x 8.1m), with cross beams lying on them (ceiling). On the ceiling is a converted gable roof (upper floor). What makes sense here: structural engineer, architect, or simply master mason? PS: Building plans are not available!
[*]The former homeowner mentioned infestation of the wood. It is said to have been treated, but I still want to expose and inspect the beams and call in professionals if anything unusual is found. If I notice an infestation, whom should I contact – who is the expert here?
[*]Assessment of the renovation measures: I want to do the rough work myself – laying walls, breaking up the floor for heating, ... Plumbing and heating pipes should be installed by professionals, window installation should also be done by professionals.
[*]I am still considering whether to do the external thermal insulation composite system partly myself or have it done completely – I am confident I can carry it out, but I have to see if it makes financial sense to do some of it myself.
