Construction supervision and energy consultant KfW55 in one person?

Hello, we want to build a KfW55 house, the construction is to be supervised and we also need an energy consultant for the KfW55 loan. I just saw that the locally based building owner consultant of the Bauherren-Schutzbund is also a KfW energy consultant. Does it make sense to have one person perform both roles in order to save travel time and costs, or should this be done by separate people? I assume that the general contractor will also suggest someone as an energy consultant. The combination would be more practiced than one chosen independently, or does that make no difference? We ask ourselves this question as well. Especially with regard to the [KFW 431 Programm], which provides funding of up to 4000€.

To my knowledge, only disability insurance and energy consultants must be economically independent.

From a legal perspective, this should be fine according to my layman's opinion.

I would definitely not take an energy consultant proposed by the general contractor; independent control is not required by the KfW for nothing...

In this context, "eingespielt" also sounds rather counterproductive for proper control.

My choice of words is fixed, not that of the GÜ. I have not yet properly dealt with the topic of energy consultants. My thought was that the house and yard energy consultant knows the construction description inside and out and thus requires less time.

I understood it that way too, that it is your choice of words. But with the construction supervision, it is also about controlling the construction. And someone who is close to the construction company is not the right person for me to check things that might cost the general contractor money. Personally, I would prefer someone who is independent.
