Hello everyone,
we have a basement ceiling that simultaneously serves as the base slab for our carport. Due to the sloping site, the ceiling is "open" on three sides. As the floor covering, we had planned paving stones, which extend completely to the house entrance on the left.
For the construction, I originally wanted to first weld roofing felt, then lay a gravel bed, and finally pave. On the open sides, gutter flashing sheets for water drainage on each side. A metal sealing has already been installed on the house side.
The question is whether this setup makes sense or if there are alternatives? Additionally, I would probably need special gutter flashing that drains water downwards and encloses the gravel bed upwards?
