Hello, we will soon start building our house, and a few friends want to help. How can we have them work completely illegally (possibly with payment). Or is that only possible with goods in kind? They are reported to the [Berufsgenossenschaft]. Best regards, Caro

If a tiler (a good friend) were to lay tiles on the weekend purely out of friendship, is that allowed?

Hello Caro, then just ask how to employ friends legal, apart from that the line between neighborhood help and undeclared work is blurred. BG is a good idea, they probably have informational material besides the hefty contributions.
