Hello everyone,

I am coming to you today with a problem that falls under the responsibility of the local city/municipality. We have the problem that a lifting station has been installed in our development area. We have the lowest property... and on top of that with a cellar. For some time now, there have been repeated failures of the (almost new - about 3 years old) lifting system. Of course, we are always the first to experience the backflow. Fortunately, we have a backflow flap. However, the issue is very annoying for us because after a backflow, it usually no longer closes properly and needs to be taken apart and cleaned. When this happens every 1-2 weeks, it really becomes unbearable in the long run. The funny thing is that I have to report the backflow because the municipality apparently doesn't notice anything - apparently, the error reporting is also not reliable.

The question to you:
- Does anyone have experience or the same problem?
- If the city doesn’t want to do anything - what options do I have here?

Best regards,
