Hello everyone. We built 14 years ago and now I have renewed my door intercom system and replaced it with an analog 2N system with an analog camera. After an odyssey with the manufacturer, it finally works but unfortunately without the camera, you are my last hope. The company that sold me the devices unfortunately has no idea about the matter and cannot help me. I can no longer return the system because I have had it for 6 months, so I have to get it fully working. So I hope that I can get help here. I connected the camera to an IP video server but unfortunately I do not get any image from the camera no matter what settings I make. I thought it was the server because this one (Vivotek VS8102) is not the right one and returned it. Today a new one arrived, the Grandstream GXV3500. Again the same, no image. The camera is connected with 2 wires +/- via a BNC connector to the server. Maybe that is wrong? I myself don't know what to do anymore. So please help. Thanks in advance. Christian

I had something like this ages ago during my training, but I've been out of it for too long. This could have many different causes. Maybe I'm writing complete nonsense here, but perhaps it will still help. Is the camera even properly connected? That seems to be an additional device. Have you specified the correct signal on the server? The Vivotek can definitely use different signals. If that's set incorrectly, no image will come. On the internet, I find a company that knows the 2N devices well. Keil Telecom. Maybe that would also be an option.

Yes, I have written to them. They cannot make a statement about which one is the right one.

So I sent the video server back because I can't get the camera to work with it no matter what I do and the manual and support are only in English. Does anyone have a suggestion which would be suitable for this purpose and of course has a German manual and ideally German support?
