Hi,

we want to hang the TV in the living room on the aerated concrete wall (11.5cm) without visible cables. For this, we want to lay a conduit ourselves. Has anyone done this before? With a hammer and chisel, it should be doable, or should you rather avoid this with Ytong? We would then get a 40mm flexible conduit / empty conduit from the hardware store and install 2 empty boxes at the top and bottom and plaster it a bit with gypsum before the interior plasterers do the complete walls later.
Does anyone have a tip if this is okay like this?

Best regards

Think about what you want to pull through the empty conduit and then choose the appropriate size (antenna cable, network, HDMI, ...). And not everything has to go through the empty conduit, you can also plan things "normally" on the wall. Document the installation with photos, because later you will have to drill holes for the wall mount. And there are covers for the sockets with a curtain (brush), but unfortunately not for all switch series.

Regarding the question of how far you can/may chase, I abstain.

We did it the same way. Placed a box at the top and bottom with a 40/60 cable duct in between.

We did something similar. Unfortunately, I can’t upload pictures via tapatalk. The duct was installed in the 36 outer wall, so there was enough space at the back (:
