Hello,

we are about to start construction, and as laypersons, we have a question: Our energy and construction consultant recommended a waterproof concrete basement with a wall thickness of 25cm. Now we see in the workshop planning "reinforced concrete hollow core wall element from the company Romey, d=25cm." Is that equivalent?

Thank you very much and best regards

Yes, it is. The concrete basement is built from concrete hollow walls, covered with concrete slabs so that the hollow space is visible. Then the ceiling AND these hollow spaces between the walls are poured in one piece. For WU concrete, concrete C 25/30 WU must be specified.

Thank you very much, we are relieved - as far as that is concerned.

Greetings to Schornstein!
