Hello,

I have an acquaintance who said that he controls his garden irrigation from the computer.. can that be true or did he tell me nonsense

that may be the case – although it's usually something done with large installations, you can also install it yourself in the garden, it's a bit expensive, but for those who value such little games... :D;)

Really, is that really possible? I find that a bit freaky as a computer layman.

what kind of costs do I have to expect there? I actually think it's pretty cool if I can sort of control it by time, or it's just funny when I press a button and the water turns on :D:D:D:confused:

There are ready-made solutions that really cost money, but if you have a bit of knowledge you can also build something yourself, it’s apparently not that difficult.

so actually you don’t need more than a relay card for your PC and an electric valve. Then you control the valve via the PC and that’s it, but if you need a specific control now, you probably have to be able to program to implement it
