4 x already slept in the new home :) And very well, 2 x relatively well rested. Even though numerous appointments with craftsmen still need to be made, who still have to do some touch-ups, we are slowly settling in. The kitchen was the first thing to be unpacked... I realize: I am missing a drawer for cooking and other utensils. I still don’t dare to start cooking because there are so many instruction manuals to read. The dishwasher baskets were better in my old one... I wore out my mother’s mop, there is still dust everywhere on the tiles. I’m going to buy a new one for her and me :) Everything in the freezer is on the floor because the furniture that is supposed to go in there unfortunately is still in the last corner of the study. But that is again full at the front with moving boxes. The stairs still have construction steps - fancy shabby style :D Upstairs in the hallway is bare screed - we will only lay the carpet after the stair builders have been there. Small brushes are waiting to be used for wall repairs. Our receiver can’t handle being switched with a switch we use to turn the TV and co on and off: the picture has a yellow tint :( When I look outside, all I see is sand, sand and sand... and weeds and mortar remnants. There is not much in the fridge either - I couldn’t get out because today was full of phone calls. Moving in is just the beginning of a long end! But I am happy!

I have to check right away if you have continued to maintain your construction blog.

Hello Musketeer... slowly the sampling costs can be entered: the invoices are trickling in

A few small additional costs have already come up for us as well. However, the majority of the sampling costs are yet to come. At the moment, the electrician has finished the rough installation. The plasterers are coming next week.

Wow, I just noticed you have almost the same bamboo parquet as we do... hopefully yours is a bit more durable :D
