Good day,
I have some questions regarding the topic of complete renovation, or roof elevation with new construction.
I live on the 2nd floor with a living area of 140m². Since I want to renovate the apartment, the following questions arise.
I want to 1. completely renovate or 2. raise the roof (the roof was renewed 2 years ago) and demolish the already existing floor and rebuild it (if possible?)
Regarding 1. All windows, all doors including the front door, complete with underfloor heating, all floors new, all water pipes and electrical wiring new. Additionally, the entire house would also need to be insulated, but I would like to do that in a second step. What would option 1 approximately cost with medium equipment without kitchen, bathroom, and exterior insulation?
Regarding 2. I have heard that it is possible to raise the roof truss and build underneath, usually when adding an additional floor to a house. Would it also be possible to raise the roof truss and demolish the floor underneath along with the masonry and install a prefabricated house with about 110m2 and 30m2 terrace, and then put the roof back on? What would option 2 cost turnkey with medium equipment?
Thanks for reading. I would appreciate answers :)
