Compassionate ceramic cooktops - How to stop beeping

I recently installed Barmhärtig ceramic cooktops in my kitchen.

Something that really annoys me is that the plates beep when an object like a pot or even a plate is on the surface - even though the plates are not hot at all and the stove is not even turned on (!).

Is there a way to stop this unmotivated beeping? It only stops when you remove the object. Thanks for your tips.

Actually, the cooktops only do this when something is on the control surface. The beeping cannot be turned off, unless the circuit breaker in the distribution box is switched off.
