Hello, hope I am in the right subforum. Here is the situation: I would like to connect a workshop stove to my chimney during the current construction phase in our new building in BA-WÜ. This is to help the plaster, etc., dry faster. Unfortunately, I have not been able to reach our district chimney sweep. The chimney has not yet been inspected. After the construction phase, a pellet stove is to be connected.

Now the question

Can I already operate the workshop stove now and, for example, inform the chimney sweep on Monday, or should I refrain from doing so?

No! The chimney draft must first be inspected and approved by the master chimney sweep! Rhineland greetings
