Hello,

in my research on house construction I keep coming back here - great forum! We are currently planning to build a single-family house (105m²) with the company Schwörerhaus. They have a standard ventilation system in every house (it will be a KFW55). In addition, you can combine a fresh air heating system which then provides electric additional heating. My original plan was/is to use a geothermal probe and a corresponding heat pump. Since I unfortunately do not know much about building technology, I am currently wondering whether these systems can be combined in some way? I really like the idea from Schwörerhaus of omitting water-based systems (radiators, underfloor heating), but I cannot come to terms with the thought of having to use electric heating, as the electricity price will certainly not go down. Furthermore, we are just in our late 20s and hopefully will live there for 40 years +. Does anyone have experience with this or am I completely off with my considerations?

Thank you very much
Regards Frank

Well, the ground-source heat pump also heats exclusively with electricity!

The variant from Schwörerhaus is of course great for the provider. Cheap, easy to install, and can be sold as something really great. By the way, the fresh air heating is also a heat pump, but air/air.

If you want a classic underfloor heating and [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung], it will become significantly more expensive. Whether it makes sense or not is another question. If it gets cold in your area during winter and/or you want it to be cozy warm, it is quite possible that the Schwörerhaus variant will have problems with that.

The controlled residential ventilation is already included anyway; there is no possibility to omit it. I would like to avoid classical underfloor heating (or radiators). I am looking for the best option to support the controlled residential ventilation. Fresh air heaters (air/air) are supposed to be loud and consume a lot of electricity? One could counteract this with buffer storage and photovoltaics, but that looks so unaesthetic on the roof that I would like to avoid it.

Then you will have a problem if you want to "just" pimp the air/air heat pump. The ground source heat pump is then out of the question since you need underfloor heating for it (as with other heat pumps as well).

There is a reason why Schwörerhaus offers additions as special equipment (brine heat exchanger, water-guided wood stove).

You will have to die one death...
