Hello dear forum members,
during today's inspection of the shell construction, it was noticed that the bricklayers were sloppy and left some gaps between individual Poroton bricks in the exterior wall, ranging from 2 to 5 centimeters wide – see also attached pictures. I fear that if these are simply filled with mortar, it will lead to thermal bridges and mold is inevitable.

How should the bricklayers best seal such gaps to minimize potential later damage?
Are there any experiences?

Thank you very much for your advice, Hans.

The topic has come up here before, I’m fairly sure the previous answer was "Thermomortar" suitable for the brick (system).

The (not yet sealed here - botched pockets are not caused by sloppiness of the bricklayers, but by a don't-care attitude of the planners towards the building tolerance.
