I am still looking for a CO2 sensor (with data logger for long-term recording) as a stand-alone device to get a sense of the air quality in different rooms. Among the relevant e-tailers, there are many with a measuring range of 0-3000ppm. All those with a larger measuring range (up to 10000ppm) are significantly more expensive, but also better? Has anyone already gained experience here and can give a tip for a suitable device? The sensor does not necessarily have to run continuously in the apartment later. A control of the controlled residential ventilation is not planned via this. I would also prefer to try it out in various places such as the bedroom, open-plan kitchen, etc. (including in the office). So a mobile device with battery would be nice, then optionally with an interface to a smart home system if the application purpose should change.
