Hello everyone, as can be seen in the attached picture, I want to close a gap between two roofs. Max 5 cm wide, but with a height difference. These are only wooden storage areas, but currently it rains in between and thus damages the wooden structure over time. The problem is that the two sheds are not the same height and also not the same depth – moreover, they are covered with different tiles. A classic closure (extending the substructure and laying a target in between) is not an option as a solution (also due to the ownership of the sheds).
In order not to make a big fuss at this spot, my idea was to close the gap with self-adhesive wall connection tape (available as a standard size 30cm x 5m at the hardware store) and possibly additionally fix it with mounting adhesive to make it last longer.
Now the question is, what you experts think of this idea and whether there might be other approaches.
Thank you very much in advance!
