Close idea generation covering

I have roofed the space between the house and the garage.
Now I am looking for a way to completely close off the space.
How would you approach this?
I wanted to install a roller shutter.

I also need a recommendation for the roof; there are currently plastic trapezoidal sheets on it that are milky and very brittle. I wanted to put something transparent on again because I need light there. Which sheets would you recommend?

- polycarbonate

- acrylic glass and profile sheets (a bit more stable than polycarbonate)
