Hello,

our construction manager informed us today that the wall between the two children's rooms is not at a right angle. It deviates by 9-10 cm over a length of 3.50 meters.

Underfloor heating is installed, the screed is currently drying. So tearing it out is not possible, or only theoretically.

What to do, said Zeus? Compensate the slope and thus lose space? Negotiate a reduction?

By the way, I do not assume that we as builders were obliged to check everything, right? Especially since it is not noticeable at first glance...

Regards,

Negotiate a reduction. I think that's something you can live with.... there are worse things

Yeah, that's true. I'll have our construction expert from the Homeowners' Protection Association look into how much can be negotiated. Unfortunately, the Homeowners' Protection Association didn't notice it beforehand either; they don't do dimensional checks.

First talk to the contractor about what he offers you. A reduction or something else as compensation should be possible. And you can sell the wall later as Fengshui : )

okay that is really crooked. I was already annoyed that we had a tight cm difference on 6m. You only notice something like that when wallpapering....
