Hello everyone, I have a question about my planned construction project (~250m² living space). I would like to plan a central residential ventilation system... how much space do I need to calculate for this, or how much room will I lose here? Is 1.5x1.5m sufficient?

If you can also fully utilize the third dimension, it should be sufficient for the main device in my opinion. But also consider space in the floor/ceiling structure for the piping. However, the ventilation installer (often, but not always, the heating and sanitation technician) should be able to tell you all that.

Yes, I can use the full room height of just under 2.8m here. The installer will have to manage with that. Thank you for your quick response!

Just for the feel. This is what a Vallox system with supply/exhaust air to the outside, as well as a silencer and a first distributor, looks like, for example. Area to be ventilated 300 sqm. Takes up about 6 sqm. It could also have been a bit smaller.

We have marked and labeled the space for electrical, washing machine/WT, heating, and freezer on the wall with chalk in the shell construction, now everything is installed. The dimensions are in the data sheet and you should already check if the utility room is large enough and has enough walls.

The device is as big as a refrigerator - that is how it was advertised to us. It is actually not bigger, but it hangs on the wall. The ceiling looks like it does with pipes as shown above. The controlled residential ventilation can also be hung space-savingly on the ceiling, it hardly matters. This is even advisable with increased ceiling height.
