Hello,

can someone tell me if this is ASBESTOS or not. We have it on our ceiling as roof construction panels.

Thanks and regards
Rüdi

Asbestos in construction products has been banned for 21 years. Are these panels older or newer? Nothing can be seen in the pictures. Post exactly what is written on them.

Hello,

on the picture that I posted, the description says: PA III 4.6 SCHICHT 3 MPA DIN 4102-A2 not COMBUSTIBLE... production date is, I believe, from 1994...

As far as I can tell, even though I have no idea, it is then not asbestos, right?

Thanks & regards
Rüdi

From DIN onwards, the text refers to the fire protection of the board. MPA - Materialprüfanstalt. PA III refers to a test certificate. Somehow you do need the manufacturer or the test certificate number. It could perhaps be Perlite, then definitely without asbestos. But certainly also depending on the year of production.
