Carport rainwater moisture wooden beams

some time ago I purchased a single-family house, which also had a carport attached.

The problem is on the carport side towards the neighbor. The first photo shows the view from the carport downwards. The wooden beams visible there protrude slightly, causing rainwater to constantly run down onto the wooden beams and the fence, which are already quite badly affected.

What is the easiest and most affordable solution in such a case?

Wood gets wet and dries again. Apart from regularly painting or oiling it, you can't do anything. I wouldn't worry about the load-bearing capacity. A wooden barn or half-timbered house lasts forever and is exposed to the weather 24/7.

Usually, the sheets have a roof overhang, which is unfortunately not the case here. In the picture, you can see that the accumulated water on the left can simply run off. If there were an edge or something similar, a gutter would form there, and the water would run into the gutter at the back. Otherwise, on the one hand, the wood is damaged, and on the other hand, the water runs over the beam into the carport, so that even the paving stones at the strongest point are already sinking. The fact that I don't have to worry too much about the load-bearing capacity is at least good news
