Hello,
we are planning to place a double carport next to our house directly on the side boundary. The width will be about 5.5m.
Now we can decide to position this carport 3m or further away from the street. The closer it is, the more space there is behind it, but this side faces east, so it is not very attractive anyway.
I could also imagine placing it a bit further back, so that there might be about 5m distance to the street.
Now my thought was to possibly install a basketball hoop in front on the paved area and play - of course only simple games or shots would be possible, since the 3m line is more than 6m away.
My question to those who perhaps have something like this: is it worth sacrificing the 2m for it, or does no fun come from the small area (about 5 x 5.5) anyway?
Thanks in advance!
