Here I am again with a new problem. We want to install a Friesian door, and have also found a carpenter who will make it because our carpenter from the builder does not have this door in his program. The carpenter (builder) has now informed us that he will not install this door because we did not buy it from him. The carpenter who makes the Friesian door ships his doors all over Germany; all the others had no problems. The same goes for the plumbing company. They do not even want to lay the pipes if we do not buy the white goods from them. I see this as blackmail. Regarding the white goods, we are talking about a price difference of about €4,000. Is there a legal basis? Installation, non-installation; warranty service

I only know it this way, that the BU is not obliged to install the parts if you did not purchase them from them. This also applies in other areas, for example with kitchen builders who do not install external appliances.

Either you find a local carpenter who will then install the door (but that also costs again) or you install it yourself.

Hello,

What you are planning is rather borderline!

You are looking for the security of a construction contract and actually want to achieve this by ordering materials externally; I would not accept that if I were him either. Your construction contract calculation is a mixed calculation; if one item drops out, it no longer adds up economically at all.

Rhineland regards

Drive to your car dealer and bring your brake pads with you!
There is no need to write more than that.

Hello construction expert, the calculation makes some sense to me. But if, for example, I buy a urinal at BU, it costs 343.82€, if I have it removed, only 130.00€ is credited to me. Greetings from the Ruhr area

Well, then I guess it doesn’t make much sense to you after all?!

You read the contract you sign beforehand. Either you make changes before signing or you accept it.
