Depending on the surface, it is naturally more or less susceptible.
We also have a fair-faced concrete staircase that was poured on site. Compared to concrete staircases manufactured in the factory, you can hardly achieve an acceptable surface quality on site. Therefore, the staircase was now ground by a specialist company and small holes were filled with special putty.
Afterwards, the concrete (like all other fair-faced concrete surfaces) is impregnated. You can easily do this yourself and it no longer changes the appearance of the surface.
